IntroductionThe Department of Health would like to congratulate LINks for producing their annual reports for 2008-9, their first year of operation. Thanks to them, their hosts and our regional office colleagues for their efforts.
As part of their accountability to their local communities as well as to LAs and DH, LINks are legally required to produce an annual report. Legally-binding Directions set out the basic information that must be contained in the report. But this is also an excellent opportunity for every LINK to set out what their priorities are and what they have achieved, and can be a useful chance to promote the LINk to potential new members and local stakeholders.
